Heat pumps
Heat pumps are the most ecological investment for your space. Their operating principle, although obvious, is still remarkable:
transfer heat from the outside to the inside of the building, even if the temperatures outside are very low!
Ecological and efficient
This heat transfer process is proven to be significantly more efficient for heating a space than any other solution.
They run on 100% electricity, avoiding urban pollution and setting the stage for clean energy.
Efficiency – COP & SCOP
The Coefficient of Performance (COP) expresses the ratio of energy gained to electricity used. For example, if the COP is equal to 3, then by using 1 kW of electricity, the space is heated with a power of 3 kW.
The efficiency is not constant, but depends on the ambient and water temperatures.
The seasonal coefficient of performance, SCOP, is an average COP value for an entire heating season.
We maintain product data fiches for all our models, detailing power, COP and SCOP.
Power
Unlike boilers, the maximum power for all heat pumps depends on the outside temperature and the water temperature.
For this reason, choosing the right size of heat pump is a complex process.

Why is it important for the heat pump to be an Inverter type?
With the Inverter system, the heat pump can vary its output to provide maximum power when required and reduce consumption and noise levels at every opportunity.
In addition, as the power is lowered, the heat pump components operate at an increased efficiency.
